I will update this post as I find other "sweet spots" on the Fish of the Day. One thing I did discover as referenced in a comment above is that the mob fished up from the Large Crowded Pool will drop one stack of fish as well as one of the Nat Pagle quest fish that you probably won't be able to pick up because you will have likely already gotten it while fishing the pool to make him spawn. That being said, the lake is small enough that moving around on your raft from the anglers isn't overly difficult. The lake is actually a bit small but I found that standing on the stones in the center didn't work for very long and still required movement to get to pools. I didn't really find a place that was better than any other in this location. On my server, today was Redbelly Mandarin day in the small lake in the north east corner of Townlong Steppes. Also, you will not aggro the huge shark swimming around in the water eating up the schools like you will if you're on your own raft from the Anglers. You can't fish all the schools fast enough to outrun the respawns. Two hours netted exactly 21 stacks of Giant Mantis Shrimp and an entire raft load of sealed crates. I simply pivoted to face the nodes while they were up. (timed by Ancient Pandaren Fishing Charm being used twice to full duration) I never moved off this raft. On the days that he sends you to Gokk'lok Shallows in the Dread Wastes, fly out to the middle of the inlet and there is a raft out there that can't really be seen from shore. According to El's Extreme Anglin', "Days start and end at 03:00 (PST for US realms, CET for EU realms, and Australian EST for Oceanic realms)."Ĭomment by hmrhead A good fisherman never tells all his spots, but Im a terrible fisherman IRL so this doesn't count. There doesn't seem to be any quest to complete, just a lot fish to get. (If you hope to sell some, I suggest waiting a couple of days, but then I'm not sure how the "fish of the day" rotates.)Īs I said, they are very close together (I counted more than a dozen from where I was standing), but some sort of water walking - including the raft you can get from the Anglers - would help. This is VERY convenient if you need whatever the fish of the day is, though it might drive down prices in the AH to some degree. He sent me to a spot in Sri-La village in Jade Forest where, indeed, there were many pools of reef octopus very close together. You can have him just tell you about it or mark it on your map for you (with a little red x). If you have the required five golden carp in your bags, you can complete it immediately.Īside from this, however, he'll give you the location of the "fish of the day", where there will be large amounts of pools of certain fish in spots they don't normally spawn, apparently (or, at least, don't spawn at as high of a rate). He has some quest designed to inform a new player or returning old player that you don't need to equip a pole to fish. When this happens, the route to this host will be automatically deleted.Comment by 970237Okay, so this guy is a new fishing trainer. This type of route has a timeout, seen in the Expire column, which is used if the host does not respond in a specific amount of time. The addresses beginning with 0:e0: are MAC addresses.įreeBSD will automatically identify any hosts, test0 in the example, on the local Ethernet and add a route for that host over the Ethernet interface, re0. This indicates that all traffic for this destination should be internal, rather than sending it out over the network. The interface specified in the Netif column for localhost is lo0, also known as the loopback device. The default route for a machine which itself is functioning as the gateway to the outside world will be the gateway machine at the Internet Service Provider (ISP).
